Cheer on the cyclists! This is the perfect place to watch them enter and exit the transition zone, where it all comes down to it!
The bike course
The route starts on George VI Avenue and goes along the upper part of Gilmour Hill as well as a section of De Laune Avenue. Cyclists will then enjoy climbing Gilmour Hill, getting their hearts pumping and generating a bit of warmth! The distance, number of kilometers, and laps have been adjusted for this new loop, which has more elevation changes and ensures a good challenge.

Did you know that?
The Quebec Ski Club, founded in 1907, was the city’s first club for skiing. Of course, it was on the Plains of Abraham that the first amateurs became accustomed to this sport. They took advantage of the large open spaces near the city to ski on. Or they would start off near present-day Avenue Garneau or Gilmour Hill to enjoy a descent that would be a little steeper. They had to be ready to walk all the way back up!
