PRESENTATION OF challenge

For children:

  • At least 2 children aged 14 and under must make up the team.
  • Age is determined on December 31 of the year of the competition.
  • In addition to the 5 team members, you may invite 2 preferred companions to be with your team in the transition area or on the course to accompany the children.

Adults and children with disabilities :

  • Teams of 3 to 5 participants with 2 chaperones (as needed and at your discretion. The accompanying person can be a parent, brother, sister, friend or other);
  • A minimum of one person per team, living with a disability, autism spectrum disorder, permanent mental health disorder or functional limitation;
  • Parents, siblings, friends, educators and others complete the team;

The challenge is not timed, and it’s possible for the whole team to do all the sports disciplines together if desired.

Are the kids tired? No problem, you can reduce the number of laps, or even skip a sport! Please note: if you decide not to do all the sports, the courses for each sport open with the fastest participant. You’ll have to wait in the transition zone for the signal to open the desired course.

All participants, except chaperones, who take part in the Family and Friends Challenge will receive a participation gift. There is no podium for this challenge – everyone is a winner! No podium; everyone wins!

The youngest participant in history was 19 months and 19 days old. Will we set a new record this year?

Your registration includes :

  • Participation in the race, race number, refreshments and coaching;
  • A post-race snack;
  • A souvenir gift;
  • Access to a special rate for accommodation at the Chateau Laurier Hotel Quebec during the event.

Conviviality Trophy

Fun is winning! And the more fun you have, the more likely you are to win. That’s right! A conviviality trophy is awarded to participating teams with the best costumes that bring joy to the event. The public is asked to vote for the winning team, which receives a free entry to the challenge of its choice for the next edition (except for the Corporate and School Challenges).
