During your workouts, it’s recommended to wear breathable sportswear that protects your skin and extremities. The layering method is ideal for quickly regulating your body temperature as needed. This involves wearing several layers of clothing to regulate your body temperature and stay dry in cold weather, following this principle:

1. Base Layer (Wicker)

Purpose: To be in direct contact with the skin to absorb and wick away perspiration.
Materials: Merino wool or synthetic fibers (polyester).
To avoid: Cotton, which retains moisture and makes you feel cold.

2. Mid-Layer (Insulation)

Purpose: To retain body heat while allowing moisture to escape.
Materials: Fleece, down, or synthetic insulation.

3. Outer Layer (Protection)

Purpose: To act as a shield against wind, rain, or snow. Materials: Waterproof and windproof fabrics (such as GORE-TEX or softshells).

However, while waiting in the transition area, we recommend bringing warmer clothing and a dry change of clothes. Heated changing rooms will also be available in the transition area for you to change before, during, or after your event.
