Quebec City, February 27, 2022<\/strong> – Participants showed up with enthusiasm to take on the various challenges of the 18th edition of the Pentathlon des neiges.<\/p>\n

ICEMAN ULTRA, new for 2022!<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a nod to ULTRA endurance races, the 75 km challenge – 10 km of running, 40 km of speed skating and 25 km of cross-country skiing – is for experienced athletes! A great challenge for individuals or teams of three. Bursaries for a total of $3,000 for the Iceman Ultra Challenge.<\/p>\n

            Don’t miss tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The Pentathlon des neiges will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday with the presentation of the RSEQ School Invitational Tournaments, where 1,150 elementary and high school students will try to win one of the official RSEQ banners.<\/p>\n

            For this 18th edition, more than 4,500 people will participate in one of the 20 different sports challenges. This year, the Pentathlon des neiges extends over an additional week, called the Semaine de la d\u00e9couverte et de la nordicit\u00e9, which has been added to the calendar, that is to say the school break.<\/p>\n
